Our long term friends and patients may notice some changes on your next visit to our office. We have updated our look and have re-tooled some of our eye examination protocols. The Great Valley office is our "Primary Care" location. Unlike our Wills Eye location and much of our Drexel Hill location that are equipped for specialty care, Great Valley is geared up for routine eye examinations. We provide an updated optical department and a full line of contact lenses.
Our eye examination is a comprehensive look at your eyes and visual system as well as a overview of your general health and physical fitness. The traditional eye exam is a "snap shot" in time of your eye health can focus. Our eye exam will also look at your overall health status and we will work to keep you at optimal visual performance well into the future. We want to check on your blood pressure, pulse and body mass index and review your current medicines and social habits. Hypertension, Diabetes, Obesity, and high Cholesterol will all affect your eyes and vision in the long term. Social habits such as smoking can be major risk factors for eye and vision problems such as cataracts and macular degeneration.
So give us a call and make a date to see one of our doctors. We will get you the perfect focus for today and help you keep that clear focus throughout your lifetime.
